Jagadamba Mahavidyalaya, Achalpur was established in 1962. The college has successfully come through many upheavals only because of the valuable contribution of the Governing Body, Local Management Committee, Teaching and non-teaching staff members and students. Jagadamba Mahavidyalaya, Achalpur also called JMV Achalpur courses are BA, BCom, BSc, MA, MCom and MSc. Admission into these courses is given based on the merit acquired in the qualifying examinations. JMV scholarships can be availed by merit students from UG and PG courses. The placement cell at JMV plays a vital role in the lives of the students by offering them job opportunities with competitive pay packages.
