JCET Yavatmal: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Jagadambha College of Engineering and Technology, Yavatmal, Maharashtra, Founded in 2009, is an affiliated college approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC. JCET is located on 11 acres with a total student intake of 1,056 in its 5 undergraduate engineering programs. The faculty strength is 53 to maintain a good student-to-faculty ratio. JCET offers various engineering streams, viz. Computer, Civil, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering.

Jagadambha College of Engineering and Technology has several amenities that make college life comfortable for students. There are separate boys' and girls' hostels that provide decent accommodation. There is a well-equipped library that houses more than 100,000 books, periodicals, and CD-ROMs. This library is fully automated with RFID technology for book management. JCET has taken extreme care regarding its students' health and has on-campus medical facilities with associations from many local hospitals. For physical fitness, there is a gym where the students can work out. The college does have laboratories for each department where the practical classes are conducted. Other facilities include Wi-Fi coverage, a cafeteria, and transport facilities for students and staff members commuting to the college. Added to this are sports facilities and an active alumni association that help in the all-round development of students.

JCET offers 5 full-time BE programmes and all the courses are regular ones. The total approved intake of all programs put together is 270.

The admission process in JCET is majorly admission based on performance in entrance examinations. The College accepts scores of JEE Main and MHT CET. Applicants to every BE programme shall compulsorily appear in all subjects of the MHT-CET and secure nonzero marks.
