Jugirad College, Morigaon, established in the year 1979, a co-ed affiliated college located at Jagiroad, Assam. NAAC accredited, the institution is spread over an area of 8.26 acres. This college has 1,860 students studying, guided by 69 faculty, offering 24 courses for 10 degrees. 

Jugiead College has some of the best facilities to allow student life and their daily academic commitments. There is a library with a full range of information resources in support of the students and teaching staff. It gives utmost importance to technology and four-advanced computer labs, with a computer center and a language laboratory, all adding up to 46 in number. Each laboratory runs PGDCA and degree-level Vocational course. The college provides abundant facilities for sports to the sports-loving students to promote their health as well as team spirit. Hostels for boys and girls, separately. A health centre is available for the medical care of the students with all first-aid facilities.

Jagiroad College has a different combination in its academic programmes with 26 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. At the undergraduate level, the college provides courses in arts, science, and commerce. The college also offers some very innovative vocational bachelor's courses in Retail Management and Entertainment. At the post graduate degree level the institution offers its students the opportunity to pursue a Master of Tourism Management, MTM and a PGDCA, which is a post graduate diploma in computer applications.

Admission to the College of Jagiroad is basically on a Merit basis, but the procedures may differ from one programme to another. For undergraduate programmes, admission is usually on the basis of the candidate's performance in the 10+2 examinations. To seek admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA), the candidate should appear in an interview the college. For admission to the Master of Tourism Management (MTM) course, candidates' selection is made on the basis of a written test and personal interviews. For the 3-year law programme, the college generally has three admission schedules.
