Jagrati Degree College, Meerut was established in the year 2005 as an affiliated college. Spread over 0.632 acres, this compact campus is exclusively for providing quality education in the said field of teacher training. The institution has been approved by NCTE. Having a total intake of 100 students and only a faculty strength of 10, Jagrati Degree College has been able to assure a concentrated learning environment for the aspiring educators. 

These fully equipped laboratories will allow students to practice and research with the most advanced equipments and apparatuses available. The library serves as an important resource point for the college and has a huge collection of well-chosen books, journals, periodicals, and newspapers in support of students' academic pursuits. At the level of physical development and recreation, Jagrati Degree College has spacious playgrounds for various sports activities. Students can spend their leisure time in a beautiful and spacious cafeteria. The facility of transport is also given, which caters to day scholars, along with an excellent IT infrastructure to back the current learning style. Other facilities include a guest room available for visiting faculty and family members of students, an auditorium for various events and seminars, a health centre with first-aid facilities, etc. 

Jagrati Degree College offers only one main course currently: B.Ed. This is a two-year full-time course with approved intake of 50 students. The B.Ed. programme is designed to orient students towards taking up a career in the teaching profession and to equip them with pedagogical skills and knowledge.
