Jainee College of Engineering and Technology, started in 2013, is situated at Aathupattiprivu, Tamilnadu. Located in Dindigul-Theni highway, this affiliated college is spread over a vast area of 10.77 acres. JCET is an AICTE approved technical institution for providing quality education in the field of engineering streams. The college has a student intake capacity of 144 students while the faculty members strength is 48 making student/teacher ratio optimal and friendly.

The college has many facilities to address academic needs for the college and its students. It also offers well-taught laboratory e.g: English Language lab equipped with latest software and earphone facility for the students. It has a large library built with adequate space for books and journals, junior users accesses information through the internet facilities. JCET is also focused on students’ comprehensive development providing equipment for sports and fitness, a gym, as well as indoor and outdoor facilities for holding auditoriums. The indoor auditorium is able to host 500 learners while the other open one has a capacity of hosting 1500. In order to facilitate the needs of its students, the college has the hostel for boys and girls with strictly vegetarian as well as non vegetarian food facility for the students. Basic facilities comprising of equipment are provided in the medical centre while an qualified nurse is available full time to tend to the health needs of the college.

JCET provides a broad spectrum of engineering programmes where all programmes are full-time courses. At present, the college offers seven BE courses in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. These degree programmes take four-years to complete and are offered in many fields of engineering to allow the students to approach the wide technical industry. The total sanctioned strength for these courses is 180 with 30 for Civil, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication Engineering and 60 for Mechanical Engineering.
