Jaipur Institute of Technology Group of Institutions was founded in 2010 and is an affiliated college in Jaipur Rajasthan. Located at the Ajmer Road close to Mahindra World City, the institute is located in a 13 acre campus. JIT is recognised under All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and provides numerous courses in engineering. At present the institute has 509 total student enrolment with 70 members of faculty where all the technical environment is maintained cohesively. 

JIT’s also equipped with an ample range of modern facilities for students to improve their academic and personality development. The institute has well furnished Hostel facilities for boys & girls in separate hostels which ensures a congenial and secure stay. The local hostels comprise the neatly equipped rooms with the attached bathrooms, several shared spaces, where all the residents are housed under the care of the wardens. JIT has has well-equipped library which is having good number of collection of books, journals and online collection of science, engineering technology and Management. It also has well equipped practical laboratory facilities, digital campus facilities to support computer based learning and sports facilities to help the students to develop their bodies. There is a large comfortable canteen providing healthy food for students, an auditorium is used for examinations, lectures and different meetings. The institute also has a transportation department that provides GPS enabled buses to ferry its students from the various parts of the city.

In total, the institute provides 9 courses, 8 of them are undergraduate and the rest 6 courses are postgraduate courses. At undergraduate level, JIT offers B.Tech programs Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. These are full time and normally take four years to complete a course. For postgraduate level the institute offers M.Tech courses in Production Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Digital Communication. The sanctioned intake for B.Tech programs is 288 along with lateral entry intakes separately for each program offering.

Jaipur Institute of Technology Group of Institutions follow AICTE norms for its admission criteria and admission to almost all the courses is conducted on the merit basis. For the B.Tech programmes, the institute accepts JEE-Main score and the Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) score. In this way, JIT is guaranteeing that the deserving candidates throughout the country have potential of attaining their dreams of being engineers at JIT.
