Jamini Kant B.Ed. College is an affiliated institution established in 2013 at Ghatsila, Jharkhand. This is a co-educational institute located in a 2.2 acres area focuses on producing education professionals. NCTE, the National Council for Teacher Education has given its assent to the college and it has two highly specific courses in education. Spread across 330 students and 19 dedicated faculties, Jamini Kant B.Ed. College offers an appropriate ratio of student to teacher.

The Jamini Kant B.ED College provides two complete course for the field of education. The B. Ed. and D. El. Ed are two year courses with an approved intake capacity of 100 students each. These programs are intended to offer students with knowledge and skills needed in the teaching profession at different level in the learning institutions. The concentration of the college on these two special courses in teacher preparation helps to prepare graduates to face challenges in their future profession of moulding the young children.

Jamini Kant B.Ed. College takes admission through merit system where marks of the qualifying /entrance test are considered.
