Jamshedpur Cooperative College (JCC) is an educational college situated in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand, it started in 1954. In its capacity as a constituent college, it has a broad teaching portfolio in different fields of study. The college is recognised and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and the college is also approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). JCC Jamshedpur is spread across a vast piece of land of 36 acres, it caters an overall strength of 6,773 students and employs a turnover of 30 faculties. College teaches 43 subjects in 12 degree programs making a large variety of specialisation for students to complete.

The college has a well-stocked central library with more than fifty thousand books, periodicals, and journals besides adequate reader’s hall and departmental libraries. For those special needs students who need to be housed, the institution has a boys’ hostel and a girls’ hostel while the boys’ hostel is for needy and deserving students of the economically challenged background. The campus has functional and well-equipped laboratory for practicals, an auditorium with seating capacity for events/seminars, and information technology facilities to foster tec hnology enhanced learning. To enhance the college sports, services every sports fanatic can take advantage of the college’s sports facilities Other services; a canteen that caters for the culinary needs of the students and the staff. The college also has a health centre where first aid services are provided to the college community.

JCC Jamshedpur’s faculty is diverse and inclusive of all fields of study. The college provides a number of bachelor and master degree courses in arts, science, commerce and teacher education. The school offers some common courses such as B. Ed, B. Com, B. A, B. Sc., and several honors courses in subjects such as Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Political Science and more. The college offers other unique programs for instance BBA Vocational and B.Sc Information Technology Vocational that meet market demands.

Jamshedpur Cooperative College offers admission through marks secured in the entrance test and qualifying examination as per the course wise norms. For example, the admission process for the B.Ed program depends on merit scores of the qualifying test/examination or entrance test/examination as per the institute’s policy.
