Jamtara Mahila Sandhya Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college in Jamtara, Jharkhand which is established in 1994. This institute occupies 7.08 acres of land and it has a rich programme variety for the undergraduates. The college’s enrolment stands at 1555; all these students are female as a sign of its focused education on women. The institution offers 18 courses in 4 different programs, some of the degree programs include, the various specialisations of BA aka B.Sc. Of its five departments, the college still has a small faculty strength of 6 thus it still continues to prioritise the attention given to students.

The college is endowed with effective facilities within the college to help improved students learning process. It I well endowed in IT facilities; the students are empowered with the latest technological equipments needed for their studies.
