Jangal Mahal Teachers' Training Institute, Bankura Town of West Bengal, India, was established in the year 2012. This affiliated college has been constructed specifically for educational purposes and has been one of the reputed colleges that run teacher training courses approved by NCTE. The institute runs a total of two full-time courses on its compact 1.01-acre campus with an enrolment of 69 students and a faculty strength of 17.

It has its infrastructure comprising different facilities that add to the learning experience of its students. The knowledge hub is a well-equipped library housing voluminous collections of books, periodicals, journals, and online resources. The departmental laboratories supplement theoretical inputs with practical training. It contains a big canteen to cater to the dietary needs of both students and staff. The major courses provided at present by Jangal Mahal Teachers' Training Institute include Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Elementary Education. It aims at making students capable and qualified for a successful teaching career with balanced inputs on the theoretical and practical aspects of education.

Admission to the institute is based on merit in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests.The admission to the B.Ed course shall be as per the state government, Union Territory administration policies, and regulations of the affiliated university. Admission into the D.El.Ed course, purely on merit, will be done as per the guidelines laid down by the state government.
