About Janki Devi Memorial College, New Delhi
Janki Devi Memorial College (JDMC), the womens college was started in the year 1959 is one of the renowned institutions in New Delhi. NAAC has accredited it as an A+ college under University of Delhi. Located in 10.652 Acres area, JDMC possesses an effective mix of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in arts, commerce, and science streams. The college’s total enrolment size is 3,234 while the faculty is made up of 72 staff member thus creating conducive environment for scholarly success.
The college has a range of good learning facilities that exists to empower the students. This fully computerized and air conditioned library has a seating capacity of 2200 and contains books over one hundred thousand including exclusively for visually impaired students there are Braille section. JDMC has a well equipped sports complex which provides the students a chance in archery basket ball, cricket and athletic. It has three computer facilities that are fully equipped with internet connection which is vital in research and other group assignments in the college. A large cafeteria serves tidy food which are very presonal and the presence of an over 1,500 seating capacity in the auditorium also meets different programs hold.
