Janta Vedic College, Baghpat, an affiliated college of the University of Meerut was found in 1949. Its sitting place is at Baraut, Uttar Pradesh. Over seven decades have passed since the institution started grooming minds. The total strength of students that it caters to is 3,422. That comes under 5 degree programmes and 23 courses. The strength of 30 faculty helps Janta Vedic College not to give any less importance to the students. It has been found that the college follows quality education, and the approval from NCTE for the institution is itself a result of credibility.

The college also follows the policies of reservation as per the state's reservation policy. Even the B. P. Ed programme has 50 seats and admits purely on the basis of merit only.
