Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya, Port Blair: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Situated in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Jawaharlal Nehru Rajkeeya Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 1967. It has spacious campus of 1.95 acres and is an affiliated college with diverse 27 courses in 9 degrees. The total enrolment of students for the institution is 3,618, while the faculty strength amounts to 46, therefore providing a good ambiance for learning. The college is accredited by NAAC, which assures quality in education.

The institute has numerous amenities for the academic and personal development of students. The college library houses nearly fifty thousand volumes and subscribes to about 85 journals, thereby being a beneficial resource for research and study. For technology-based learning, JNRM has three spacious computer centres equipped with internet access, aiding to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. At the same time, the college also maintains well-equipped laboratories for practical learning experiences. In respect of the welfare of the students, the institution has separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, each accommodating about 250 students with free mess facilities.

Admission to JNRM is mostly merit-based on the performance of the candidates in their qualifying examinations.
