Jayam Polytechnic College was started in the year of 2008 and located at Nallanur Village, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college is approved for All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) and offers diplomas in several fields of engineering. The institute occupies a total area of 6.85 acres and the number of students enrol are about 228 and the number of faculty members is 50. Jayam Polytechnic College offers five diploma courses in Mechanical, Civil, Computer, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communication for the candidate interested in technical pursuits.

Jayam Polytechnic College provides altogether 5 diploma courses out of which all the courses are for full time. It offers Diploma programme in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and communication Engineering. This college is established with the aim of delivering quality technical education with a view of producing competent human resource in the relevant fields.
