Universities such as, the JC Diwakar Reddy Agricultural College, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh was particularly adhere to the field of agricultural course. This is a relatively young college which was founded in 2016, and nonetheless it occupies a significant place among the colleges specializing in agriculture. Located on 110 acres of land the college provides an ideal setting to learn and practice agriculture. Currently the college has about 250 students and 25 faculty members to teach to this student which gives a proper ratio of student and teacher which provides quality education and personal attention.

For the purpose of intellectual growth, the college has a large library that occupies an area of 2700 square feet available in the college. The library of the college comes under the Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) which has got huge number of books, journals and other agricultural literature and research documents. 

JC Diwakar Reddy Agricultural College currently offers one flagship program: B.Sc. Agriculture (Hons). This four years full time course aims at offering standard education to the students who have interest in the field of agricultural sciences to enable them fit well in different sectors of agriculture and other related fields. College has the capacity of taking 250 students for each course, thus the college has implied quality standards to accommodate a large number of students who wish to pursue a career in agriculture. However, it is not clear what these procedures entail, but they probably entail admission tests and merit based system and or criteria which are common to other colleges of agriculture in the region. 

The college seeks to empower its students to learn in different ways as they provide the community with very many facilities apart from academic. Infrastructure to support sporting activities is provided within the school so that students can be in a position to do their exercise as they enjoy their spare time. First aid services to the college community are provided by a health center that is equipped with first aid facilities. In addition, the campus has its own hostel rooms for boys as well as for girls to ensure that students from different parts of the country get beset living accomodation services.
