Jeevan Chanan College of Education, Karnal is one of the leading and well-known teacher training institutes in the area. It is situated at Assandh, Haryana, and was established in the year 2007. This is a co-educational college affiliated to Kurukshetra University. The future of many aspiring educators has been shaped in the ideal way. Presently, Jeevan Chanan College of Education runs only one primary course, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program; this is a full-time two-year course with an intake capacity of 100 students. The B.Ed. course is meant to provide both knowledge and skills, and the practical experience needed in a teaching career. While the institution has focused much on this flagship course, it reflects a commitment to quality education in the field of training teachers.

Admission to Jeevan Chanan College of Education shall be made in accordance with merits obtained in the qualifying examination and/or Entrance Test. The College functions under the policy framework of admission as enunciated from time to time by the State Government of Haryana, UT Administration, and Kurukshetra University.
