JJ Polytechnic College was started during the academic year 2005-06 and is a premier technical institution situated at Tiruchirappalli – Tamilnadu. This is a co-educational institute located on a vast area of 10.76 acres of land and focuses to offer good technical education to engineering students.

The  JJ Polytechnic College has a wide range of functional facilities, in and out door that compliments the college in achieving the objectives of preparing the students for responsible citizenry. For students comfort there is a separate hostel for boys and girls, a canteen, sports grounds, gym for physical training.

There are four three-year duration full time diploma courses offered in JJ Polytechnic College. The total approved intake for all courses 330seats being composed of Civil Engineering, Mechanical engineering, Automobile engineering and Electrical & electronics engineering.
