JNP College of Education, North 24 Parganas: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

JNP College of Education was started in the year 2016, which is in North 24 Parganas, West Bengal. This is a co-educational college, which is affiliated to state university and aims at preparing future educators. Situated on a small area of one acre, the college provides two distinct courses in education with the overall enrolment capacity of 275 students. The institute counts 33 highly qualified professionals in its capacity of a faculty, which contributes to the formation of a reasonable ratio of students per teacher. We hold membership with the National council for teacher education (NCTE) this makes JNP College of Education to ensure high standards are achieved during the training of teachers.

JNP College of Education offers two full-time courses: two years Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The B.Ed programme has a capacity of 100 students and fee structure of ₹140,000 and D.El.Ed programme also intake 100 students at the fee of ₹96,000. These are educational programmes that are aimed at preparing competent teacher graduates with adequate knowledge and skills to practices in teaching profession.

Admission of candidates to various courses at JNP College of Education is based on merit in the qualifying and entrance examination. Admission policies in the college are aligned with the policies of the state government and the university the college is affiliated too. For B.Ed programme, the admission procedure of the candidates will be assessed on the foundation of marks secured in the qualifying examination/entrance test or any other mode of selection process according to the state government/University norms.” In the same manner, for admission to the D.El.Ed programme, the merit in a qualifying examination or entrance test or any other criteria as prescribed by the state government/UT administration is considered for admission.
