JSR College of Education, Tirupur: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

JSR College of Education which was established in the year 2005 is one of the most leading teacher education institution situated at Tirupur, Tamil Nadu. This affiliated college, which is affiliated to NCTE, the National Council for Teacher Education is committed to the reformation of the future education system. JSR College of Education is located in a large 5.03 acre land which provides enough and conducive environment for teacher training. This institute has a total of 91 students enrolled, and 10 teachers and professors confirming an individual approach and quality education.

It possesses various amenities that contributing to the college learning facilities of the students. The rich equipped library acts as knowledge center by having numerous and updated educational collections. The ideal IT support makes sure that the students are conversant with modern educational technologies ready to embrace the digital teaching environment. In the same vein for the over-all development the college has a provision of sporting facilities for the physical growth as well as for the academics. An auditorium offers accommodation of events and seminars thus enhancing the spirit of the University. The college also has departmental laboratories which are crucial to students training in educational institutions. An eating place helps students and workers with the meals, a health facility with provisions for first aid is available for the college population.

At present the college offers only one full time course that is the Bachelor of Education [B.ED] programme. This two year programme is aimed at imparting in student education, the set knowledge, skills and exposure needed in the profession of a teacher.

Regarding admission, JSR College of Education’s policy of admission is also merit based which has been set by the state government/ U.T. Administration and the university it is affiliated to. The performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination is used to assess the students who intent to pursue admission in the university.
