Nawi Jyoti College of Education Sehore and started its journey in the year 2014 to build the future of education. Sited in the village of Dodi, on the Bhopal-Sehore Highway, this affiliated college has emerged rapidly as institution of excellence in teacher education. Recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college has a compact 1-acre campus, and has co-educational facility. Jyoti College of Education currently boasts 161 students and 16 faculty members, ensuring small classes that facilitate good working relationships between faculty and students.

The college has various learning amenities which are designed to improve learning among the college students. Central to these is a fully equipped library which accommodates 3,339 books, 1,285 of which are distinct, as well as 631 references. B Libraries also subscribe to 12 educational journals/periodicals to ensure the student get access to current developments and current researches done in the field of education. The reading room is capable of accommodating 40 students for purposes of effecting study in a quiet environment. Based on students’ needs, the college provides IT amenities, a canteen, an auditorium, laboratories, a health center, a store, parking, and sports. All these facilities enhance the college in that they provide a spherical atmosphere for nurturing the student academically, spiritually, physically, and socially.

Jyoti College of Education currently offers one primary course. The programme was known as Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). This course is a two-years full course for those who aim to become professionals in the different field of education. Currently, with an approved intake of one hundred students the B.Ed programme remains the foundation of the colleges programme offering.

Like any other institution of learning, the admission policy of Jyoti College of Education follows admission policies enacted by the State Government/;Union Territory Administration of Sonepat along with the affiliated University. The placements offered to the candidates depend on their percentage marks in the qualifying examination or entrance test.
