Offline Course

From the academic year 2024-25 onwards, candidates enrolled in the M.Tech programme at K J Somaiya College of Engineering will have the opportunity to continue with a Ph.D. program upon successfully qualifying the Ph.D. entrance examination, conducted during their first year of M.Tech. They will be able to commence with their Ph.D. research immediately from second year, with the coursework completed during the M.Tech being duly recognized. This program is designed to cultivate specialized expertise and enhance research capabilities, equipping students for leadership positions in academia, research institutions, industrial R&D, government sectors, entrepreneurial ventures, and beyond.

The M.Tech + Ph.D. programme spans the duration of 4 years extended up to 6 years, combining rigorous coursework with cutting-edge research. It is tailored to provide a seamless transition from foundational knowledge to specialized research, under the guidance of faculty members and mentors.
