Kadambini Women's College of Education was established in 2007. It is located in Purba Medinipur, West Bengal, and has the privilege of being the first women's college in this district. This affiliated college has primarily taken care of the teacher education courses approved by NCTE. On a 4-acre campus, the institution has courses in education and physical education. With 398 students in total and a faculty strength of 16, this institution provides focused learning for aspiring educators.

Apart from that, the infrastructural facilities at this place are quite representative to support the learning and development of the students. One such knowledge hub for this institution is the well-stocked library serving the needs of students and faculty members. Kadambini Women's College of Education imparts a wide range of educational programs. It offers 6 full-time and 2 part-time courses to meet the diversified needs in education and schedules. The undergraduate courses offered by the college are B.Ed, D.El.Ed, BA B.Ed, and B.Sc B.Ed with an intake limit of 100 students each. At the postgraduate level, the courses are M.Phil in Education and Physical Education in full-time/part-time mode with intake limits of 30 each. 

 Admission to Kadambini Women's College of Education is strictly on a merit basis. Candidates get selected for admission in order of merit in accordance with marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Entrance tests or other selections may be conducted for some courses as per the policy so framed from time to time by the State Government, UT administration, or affiliated university. A well-defined admission procedure is followed in the college so that admissions to the college are completely fair and transparent.
