Kadathanad Arts and Science College, Vadakara was established in the year 2017 is a young college located in the back drop of Kadathanad Hill Campus in Kozhikode, Kerala. This affiliated college provides undergraduate programmes in the field of arts, science and commerce. Thus, with 8 courses for four degree programmes of study, the college offers courses of interest to different learners. In the absence of enrolment figures of students and number of faculty members it can be said that the institution strives to offer quality education in a right environment.

The college has well-equipped sports complex that meets a wide variety of activities aimed at improving student lives. At the heart of its academic infrastructure are four well-equipped laboratories: this includes; the Food Technology Lab, Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab and the Psychology Lab. These large studios and equipped with all essentials necessary for learning in the field of students’ interest. The college library is perhaps the biggest library that I have set my eyes on with sections in Microbiology and Food Technology, Business Management, Chemistry and literature books among others. In the area of IT, the college is well endowed with state of the art facilities that caters for the students needs in as much as they impacts on the modern technological advancement.

Kadathanad Arts and Science College currently has no part-time courses but seven undergraduate courses, all of which are fully fledged. Various course are offered in the commerce, business administration sciences, and arts. The courses include B.Com Finance, BBA, B.Sc Chemistry, B.Sc Psychology, B.Sc Food Technology, BA Sociology as well as BA English Literature, BA Economics. All of these programmes are aimed to equip students with adequate knowledge in their area of specialisation.
