Kaji Najrul Minority College of Education, established in 2016, is an affiliated college in the Paschim Medinipur district of West Bengal. The institution is co-educational and has its campus on 2.14 acres of land with the mission of developing future teachers. It is NCTE-approved and has two major courses pertaining to Education. The institute has a total student enrolment of 147, with a faculty strength of 15, thereby maintaining a very conducive student-teacher ratio to ensure personalized attention and quality education.
The college has the whole range of modern facilities for enhancing the learning process. Its library, being the knowledge hub, is adequately stocked with a variety of books, journals, and reference materials, which are prescribed for the curriculum of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. These provide experiential learning facilities for the prospective teacher. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, thus enabling students to use e-resources at their will. It has sports facilities and a canteen to ensure all-round development among students. A health center with first-aid facilities takes care of the well-being of the college community.
Presently, Kaji Najrul Minority College of Education offers two full-time courses: the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) and the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). The duration of both the programs is two years, duly aimed at orienting the students towards a successful teaching career. The total intake capacity of the college is 100 students. This is a focused approach where intensive training could be made available to the graduates so that they are prepared adequately to take challenges in the education sector.

According to the policies of the state government and the affiliated university, Kaji Najrul Minority College of Education has admission on a merit basis. Admission to the D.El.Ed course is made based on marks obtained at the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. For B.Ed. also, admissions are made on the basis of merit, considering the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test. The College follows any other selection criteria, as may be stipulated by the State Government or the UT Administration from time to time.
