Kalaprabododhini's Institute of Design in Kolhapur was established in the year 2006 and is an affiliated college in Bhalaji Pendharkar Cultural Centre of the College. It is located in the core of Kolhapur. It is a place to study specialized design education in a creative and innovative centre in the state of Maharashtra, India. The institute provides an intimate learning environment with 156 students on the compact campus of 0.397 acres. The faculty strength is 11 dedicated professionals, ensuring an enviable student-to-faculty ratio. The institute has been recognized by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, popularly known as the NAAC, and Kalaprabodhini's Institute of Design works with a commitment to delivering quality interior design. 

The institute also prides itself with different facilities for students in enriching their learning processes. It has the treasury of knowledge, which stocks different forms of books, journals, and other digital resources in the subjects of design and related subjects. For the sporty, the college has sports amenities to propagate a healthy balance between academics and recreation.
