Kalinga Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jajpur was established in 2009. The college is affiliated with the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Cuttack. KIET Jajpur is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college provides high-quality education in the Engineering stream. The college offers diploma courses to students.  

Kalinga Institute of Engineering and Technology courses include Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Mining Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
