Kamargaon College is a postgraduate college located in the state of Assam, established in the year 1972. It covers an area of 7.17 acres. This institution provides multiple undergraduate arts courses. There are 24 faculty members along with a total of 600 students. That is to say an excellent student-teacher ratio. Kamargaon College has many facilities which facilitate all round development of students in the campus. Library This library is computerized and well-stocked, having more than 17,986 copies of books excluding e-books and e-journals. For the facilitation of education to the female students coming from the rural sections of the society, the college has a women's hostel that will accommodate 30 students. In consonance with the college motto, there is an arrangement with the Kamargaon P.H.C. to have a first-aid cell in the campus itself. The health camps are conducted periodically for the benefit of the common people. The sportsmen can make use of the sports facilities available in the college and participate in various events held at the state as well as the university level. There is a computer lab with 20 workstations that prepares the students for the digital age.
