Kamla Lohtia Sanatan Dharam College Ludhiana was started in year 1992, it is a co-educational college situated at Ludhiana in Punjab state of India. This affiliated college provides a broad spectrum of 11 courses in 10 degree programmes: undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Spread over 5 acre area having limited infrastructure the college is well manned by 16 faculty members. The student body comprises 1,318 male and 146 female students, reflecting a 10:1 ratio. This institution is famous for its business, arts and computer sciences courses which include professional courses such as M.Com in entrepreneurial and family business among other standard courses.

Kamla Lohtia Sanatan Dharam College comprises sporting and recreational amenities as well as several resources that aims at improving the learning and personal development process of learners. The school being a repository carries a rich collection of books that numbers approximate 18000 along with journals and periodicals of various languages. For those who are sport related, the college provides adequate facilities; these include; an indoor sports hall, playgrounds for games such as hockey, football, cricket, and athletic tracks. Technology is also valued in the institution through; There are five computer laboratories and these; are fitted with a similar number of computers of approximately 130 and they all have links to broadband internet connection.

Kamla Lohtia Sanatan Dharam College currently provides 11 courses, which comprises of only full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The course offered include those under commerce, arts, computer applications and management disciplines. Though it is not clearly elaborated that how many students they are enrolling every session for each and every course, the college intake is quite large in terms of number of students enrolled in different programmes. The college had a total of 1305 student population in the three- year programmes, 25 students in one- year post graduate programmes and 134 students in the two- year post graduate programmes in the academic year 2019.

The Kamla Lohtia Sanatan Dharam College has the admission policy where admission is given to the competent students as per the instructions of Panjab University and as per the rules and regulations of reservation policy of State Government. As in the case of BBA and BCA under graduate programmes admission offered by the college is based on merit list of the college. The same procedure is practised for admission to postgraduate programmes like M.Com in Entrepreneurship and Family Business. Some facilities include a Girls’ Hostel referred to as Gopal Chand Chopra Women’s Hostel with a sleeping capacity of 30 students, on sharing basis. The campus also has neatly constructed cafeteria, Parking facilities provided with CCTV cameras and a Health centre with first-aid facilities. For academic support, the college offers departmental laboratories and workshops to the students. Moreover, the Training and Placement Cell helps organize campus interviews for the final year students and other necessary things related to the placement though the placement information is missing.
