KVTC or Kanchan Devi Teachers Training College of Bhilwara in Rajasthan, is one of the leading institution heading towards a better tomorrow for the future education. This co-educational college was founded in 2006, and for more than fifteen years it trains young people to become teachers. Accredited iwith a university and recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college provides sound preparation for students seeking teaching profession. The college has a strength of 186 students in total and faculty members including 15 teachers which provide good student teacher ratio with additional advantage of providing quality education.

KVTC  has a range of facilities that are intended to support the learning journey of students within the facility. The institution being a learning institution has a library that boasts of literally over three thousand, one hundred and sixty books in the field of teacher education, psychology, education administration, management, and health education. It also contains two set of encyclopedias and has the capacity to contain fifty students at one time. For those who have passion in exercise and body building, the college provides for both indoor and outdoor exercise facilities. The campus has an outdoor court for volleyball player, and a separate court for badminton players, for the students who like to indulge in outdoor game activities, and for indoor games there are carrom board, Chinese checkers, and table tennis etc. Also important in today’s college learning, there is an IT facility with fifteen computer systems, overhead projectors and other tools for technology improved learning.

At present, Kanchan Devi Teachers Training College only has on its list of courses the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme. This is a two years full course that aims at preparing the students for teaching profession by passing all the qualities they need to the course. The college has been sanctioned to admit 100 students for this programme thus, it confirms their ability to extend quality education to a large number of students aspiring to teach.

Kanchan Devi Teachers Training College offers admission on merit basis, students can apply on the basis of marks secured in the entrance examination or the qualifying examination. The college follows certain admission policies which are prescribed by the state government, UT administration and affiliated university. Due to its enclosed, adequate, and purposefully-built structures, efficient and committed members-in-charge, and supportive and development-centred management, the college aims to produced highly skilled and competitive and intelligent and responsive teachers for the future classrooms.
