Karthikeya Polytechnic College, Tiruchirappalli established in 2008 affiliated college is located in Tamil Nadu – India. Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) this institution has diploma courses in different engineering streams. Located at a small land area of 5.52 acre, the college has a current enrolment of 232 students and a teaching staff of 37. Karthikeya Polytechnic College offers the following four diplomas in Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. This college therefore, is geared towards technical education as is evidenced by the coupling of extensive knowledge with technical practical training.

The college has got an approved student intake of 210 across all its programmes though Mechanical Engineering takes the lion share. However, the number of graduates in the latest year has not been provided, but total enrollment equals to student intake, meaning that enrollment equals to entry capacity.
