Kashmir Government Polytechnic College Srinagar’ (KGP Srinagar) is a premier technical institution of the region established in 1958. Affiliated to the University of Kashmir, Situated in Gogji Bagh, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir it is approved by AICTE. KGP Srinagar is spread across a 6.5 acre of campus and offers 10 diploma under one degree programme. Total sanctioned strength of the students is 819 and the sanctioned strength of faculty members is 29 which makes the college impart quality technical education to budding engineers. The institute offers specialisations in Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering and programmes like Wood Technology and Leather Technology which are not very commonly offered.
