Kasturi Bai College of Education for Women, Bapatla: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University, Kasturi Bai College of Education for Women, Bapatla was established by a society in the year 2006. It is a women's college and is permitted by the National Council for Teacher Education to conduct teacher training programmes. It is located in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. The small campus of this college occupies 0.65 acres, and it presently caters to 208 girls enrolled here to further enhance the spread of education as an empowering tool among women. The faculty numbers 14, and thus, the student-teacher ratio stands strongly in favor of the students securing individual attention and quality education. 

The college stands for well-deserved pride with its excellent physical infrastructure for a richly enriching learning experience. A well-stocked library is the knowledge hub that provides fundamental resources for the aspiring educator. The psychology laboratory has been designed to accommodate 20 students at a time for practice work and contains different apparatuses, paper-pencil tests, scales, and inventories. The Kasturi Bai College of Education for Women has had commitment toward the integration of computers in its system. A computer lab consisting of 12 computers with LAN and internet facilities has been provided for proper computer support, maintaining a computer-to-student ratio of 1:2. The institution also lets students undergo physical development inside as well as outside sports facilities such as table tennis, chess, caroms, volleyball, and badminton. 

Kasturi Bai College of Education for Women offers a program that is focused with its flagship program being the Bachelor of Education Course, B.Ed. This two-year, full-time program is an approved 100 intake seat, tailored for students who would like to pursue teaching as a career with solid grounding in education theory and practice. 

Merit-based admission of prospective students. Merit-based admission to Kasturi Bai College of Education for Women shall be as per the policies of the State Government, Union Territory administration and that of the affiliated University. The selection of prospective students will be made according to their performance in a qualifying examination, entrance test or other prescribed selection processes.
