KB Jha College was established in the year 1976 at Katihar in Bihar. It is a constituent co-educational college sprawling over an area of 3 acres with the campus being favorable for both learning and growth. With a total strength of 4,714 students and a faculty of 46, KB Jha College offers a wide spectrum of undergraduate programmes in the three streams: Arts, Science and Commerce.

There are a number of other facilities within the campus for pursuit of academic and personal development. The campus has separate hostels for boys and girls that ensure comfortable accommodation to those in need. A well-stocked library will act as the knowledge hub, while departmental laboratories will cater to the practical learning needs of science stream students. All this is added with the auditorium for events and seminars in order to have vibrant campus culture. Sports facilities encourage students to lead an active life and participate in various athletic activities. Other infrastructural facilities include excellent IT infrastructure that the college has put into realization of the importance of technology in the current way of education.

Among them, there are three full-time undergraduate degree programs: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Commerce.
