KCT's Krishna College of Pharmacy, Karad was established in the year 2006. It is amongst one of the best institutes for pharmaceutical education in Maharashtra. This co-educational college is situated in Malkapur, Karad district of Satara and comes under the Pharmacy Council of India. An institute enveloped in 2.5 acres of campus area provides two specialised pharmacy programmes. KCT's Krishna College of Pharmacy has a number of facilities helping out in improving the college learning experience and all-round development of students. The library — being a base of academic resources — constitutes 383 titles and 1,945 volumes, which is adequate study material for learners. The reading room is well spaced with access to e-journals and Internet facilities, remaining open up to midnight to help learners in their study. All these facilities related to games—indoor and outdoor, including a well-equipped gym—are to support the student's physical fitness. For all practical purposes, the IT infrastructure to cope with changing technology in the pharmaceutical field is available on the campus. A cafeteria is available to aid to the dining needs of students on campus, and a 750-seater air-conditioned auditorium is used as a venue for guest lectures and workshops. Practicals must be done in a laboratory under the different departments, so the laboratories under different departments are kept well supplied with all facilities to give practical training.
KCTS Krishna College of Pharmacy conducts two full-time courses: 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) and 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) programmes. These programs will give them all the theoretical and practical knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences.

At KCTS Krishna College of Pharmacy, admissions are done according to a process that is fair and merit-based. In the case of the D.Pharma course, candidates can apply through management quota or by following the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) process. For CAP admission, rules set by DTE, Mumbai shall be followed for admission through online applications. The B. Pharma course intake is also done through that process, and entry to this course primarily takes place through CAP. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) is a popular entrance test accepted by this University for B. Pharma.
