KGI School of Education, Patna, was established in the year 2012. This co-educational institute sprawls over a compact 1 acre campus with the approval from National Council for Teacher Education, KGI School of Education runs two full-time courses with an enrolment of 211 students. The institution has a good student-faculty ratio with 16 faculty members.

The institute has a series of facilities for the enrichment of the learning process and general welfare of students. There is a well-stocked library that can be described as a knowledge hub, supporting academics and research pursuits. An auditorium serves as the setting for events and seminars that enable a thriving campus community. The college also looks forward to the comfort of the students and, as such, has separate hostels for boys and girls. KGI School of Education offers its two prime courses: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.). Both of these are regular courses, extending for two years. 

The KGI School of Education admission process is based on merit and is in accordance with the state government and university policies. Admission to the B.Ed course, in particular, will be made as per the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination and on the basis of entrance examination performance. Other criteria will also be permitted in the selection process if the policy of the Bihar government and the affiliated university so dictate. The admission to the course D.El.Ed shall be based on merit, taking into account marks obtained in the qualifying examination and entrance test, subject to directions received from the state government/UT administration.
