Khadir Mohideen College Adirampattinam is a co-educational institution situated in Tamil Nadu and the college was established 1955. This affiliated college occupies a 17-acre area and it teaches 66 courses in 13 degree programmes. It has a diversified student population with total number of 2959 students and the faculty members are 156 thus keeping a optimum student to teacher’s ratio. The institution is up to the undergraduate and postgraduate levels as 86% students are in the undergraduate level, and 14% in the postgraduate level. The college has proved to have a good policy on gender diversity in its student population as it has 57% male students and 43% female students. Anticipated majors available are Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, English, and some sciences.

In the undergraduate level the college provides number of B.A B.Com B.C.A and B.Sc courses. Masters can be pursued with the help of MA, M.Com, M.Sc or an MBA and PGDCA . For the academic inclined researcher the college provides M.Phil and Ph.D programmes in a variety of specialisations. Total enrolment for students is forty two thousand, five hundred and fifty nine of which forty thousand, two hundred and seventy five are currently pursuing various programmes. In the last academic year there were 2,134 students in the undergraduate level and 361 postgraduate students.

Khadir Mohideen College has the policy on admission where all students are welcome and the selections are made based on merit only. This is because unlike most of the examinations, the examinations dates are usually not known though the college may use its affiliating university academic calendar. The institution provide different scholarships to deserving students to assist them financially. During the 2022 academic year, about 1,330 undergraduate students and 106 postgraduate students were given reimbursements and this shows that the college encourages financial help.
