Khalsa College of Nursing was started in the year 2006, located at Amritsar is one of the most recognised college providing nursing education in Punjab, India. Sited on National Highway GT Road, this college affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University has been producing the future healthcare professionals for more than 11 years. The institute is located in a sprawling 5 acres and offer a comprehensive variety of nursing course which has been approved by the INC. It also boasts of a large multi-purpose hall which has 400 sitting capacity for many activities in and around the college, annual end of year meetings, religious activities, seminars, workshops, and conferences among others.

At present, the institute offers 8 full time courses which are at certificate, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The total approved intake for all the courses is two hundred and ten. The college has 30, 40, 60 and 30 seats available in ANM, GNM, B.Sc and P.B.B.Sc Nursing respectively. At postgraduate level the college offers M.Sc courses in Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing and Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing each having 5 seats.
