One of the prime educational institutions in the city of Biharsharif is Kisan College at Sohsarai, Nalanda, Bihar. Constituent co-educational college with its foundation laid way back in the year 1957, it has been serving in this very fertile area for more than six decades. The institution has an area of 4 acres where education up to degree level is being provided through different subjects to about 3,655 enrolled students.

The college runs BA, Bachelor of Science, B.Com, and  Bachelor of Commerce Honours.
