KLE College of Engineering and Technology, Chikodi (KLECET Chikodi) is known institute which was established in the year 2008. This affiliated college is located in Chikodi of Karnataka and the area of the college is approximate 16 acres. Recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, KLECET Chikodi consists of multiple engineering & management courses. The institute has 173 female students while 1,168 male students; the total student enrolment is 1,341, and the institute has 73 members of faculty. They have a reasonable gender distribution with 894 male and 515 female students show their concern in the gender equality concern for education. The college currently has 7 courses across 3 programmes: Engineering, Engineering Management, and Business Management offering specialisation in diverse engineering disciplines.

KLECET Chikodi offers a numerous number of hi-tech amenities for the best learning of their students. The campus also has comprehensively equipped laboratory for each department to facilitate practical lessons. The college library acts as an information centre that contains books totaling over 20000 volumes besides extending the technological application in an attempt to meet the learning requirements of the learners and the instructors. Sports enthsuiasts can take advantage of colleges that provide outdoor and indoor facilities such as tennis court, cricket pitches, football pitches, basketball court and indoor games. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled with a drinking water and internet facility of50 Mbps connection for smooth access of internet facilities. KLECET Chikodi also has the hostel accommodation for the boys and girls separately and the students have been provided the best facilities in the hostel

The institute provides all the necessary courses including 4 undergraduate BE programmes, MBA, B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, nad MCA. The above courses are all regular full time programmes with the ability to address market needs. It has the total approved student intake of five hundred thirty throughout all the courses offered, while for BE in computer science and engineering, and MCA courses, the capacity is 120 seats each. This kind of course structure gives a student an opportunity to major in various areas so that they can secure good job markets in their respective areas of specialty.

The admission procedure in KLECET Chikodi is mostly centralised that focuses on merit. In engineering programmes, the Karnataka Common Entrance Test known as KCET is the only entrance test recognised by the college. Propective students are expected to pass this exam to make them qualify for admission for their dream courses. The college also looks at the passing standard achieved in the 10+2 or equivalent examinations. In the case of postgraduate courses such as MBA and MCA admission, some universities may require candidates to write extra exams or interviews.
