KLE Society’s Polytechnic, Bailhongal which was set up in the year 2008 is one of the best technical colleges situated at Bailhongal, Karnataka. This affiliated college approved by AICTE New Delhi also provide several diploma courses in engineering disciplines. The institute is spread over 6.29 acres of land and has a total enrollment of 171 students, and has its own team of 24 full-time faculty members. This schools KLE Society’s Polytechnic is aimed to produce quality technical education for the students in order to attain successful careers in their respective engineering disciplines.

It is proud of having provided a great number of facilities that all aim at making the learning process more effective in student achievement. The campus has well furnished hostels for boys and girls with mini libraries and even planned internet facilities. There is a well stocked library with over 5000 books and journals for students of all the branches of the university. The college also has computer resource centers fitted with current Internet connection with computers that are updated occasionally with related software to compete with those in the business world. As part of the management’s commitment to foster the development of students in all facets of life the institute offers sports amenities and promotes inter-polytechnic sports activities. Others are facilities such as, an auditorium and seminar facilities, Internet connection for our business communication, laboratory facilities for each of the departments, transport facilities, canteen and well-equipped classroom facilities.

KLE Society’s Polytechnic conducts five full time Diploma courses in Engineering, each of the total duration of three years. Graduation program of the institute are Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The total approved intake of the institute is 210 in all the courses, thus offering a chance to for the institute to meet varying interests in engineering and the market.

This institution’s admittance policy at KLE Society’s Polytechnic is quite easy, and it mainly focuses on merit. The admission of the First Year Diploma Course in Engineering is made purely on the merit of the S.S.L.C./S.S.C or any other equivalent examination in the Karnataka Secondary Board, Bangalore. This way we can guarantee that the deserving candidates who have laid good foundation in their secondary education should be allowed to attend technical education. All admissions are provisional and made in consultation with the D.T.E. Bangalore, to ensure that the college maintains the required standard of admission as prescribed by the D.T.E.
