The institution KLE Society’s Polytechnic, Mahalingpur, was set up in 2008, and has since been a guiding light providing technical education to students in the campus located in Karnataka, India. Located in Bagalkot district, this affiliated college considered as the catalyst in nurturing future engineers for more than a decade. AICTE accredited institute established on a 5.39 acres of land which provides a right ambience of learning and development. A total student enrolment sum up to five hundred and sixty five and the faculty strength of the polytechnic is thirty strong ensuring students get the individual attention they deserve as they acquire quality education. Currently it offers five diploma programs, which are been developed to meet the new challenges and adequately equip and prepare students for better careers in engineering.

At KLE Society’s Polytechnic many modern teaching aid and equipments are used in the moulding the students. The college has equipped well its laboratory facilities like Electronics, Mechanical, and Computer laboratories and where students can practice practically. Library, also known as, world in a nutshell has an enormous collection of one lakh books, different journals, CDs, magazines, etc which encourage the culture of research amongst students.

The courses of study provided by this Institution include a variety of polytechnic education that is market relevant. It offers five diploma courses that take full three years to complete the coursework. Programs offered include: Diploma in Civil Engineering; Computer Science Engineering; Electronics & Communication Engineering; Electrical & Electronics Engineering; Mechanical Engineering. The total approved intake for all the courses is 250 and out of it, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering intakes 60 students each.
