KMG College of Arts and Science, Gudiyattam was started in the year 2000 and is a self financed, and an autonomous institution recognised by Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore. The institute is in Tamil Nadu and occupies 15 acres of land to host programmes in Arts, Commerce, Science, Computer Applications and Management Studies at the UG, PG, and doctoral level. This means that KMG college intakes a total of 2,140 students while the faculty consist of one hundred and three teachers, which imply that the institution provides a good student-teacher ratio.

KMG College of Arts and Science also has numerous amenities for the college in order to improve the learners’ learning experience. These are the provision of different hostels for the male and female students, a well stocked library with electronic and manual resources a, computerised libraries with internet connections, and adequate playgrounds for all kinds of sports. Some of the common undergraduate courses are B.Sc Computer Science, BCA, B.Com and BA English The postgraduate courses are MA, M.Com and M.Sc. The college also has M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes in different fields and faculties. All are taught at three levels: undergraduate, masters, and doctoral; all programmes are on full time basis with an/authentic aim on quality education both at conventional and new frontiers.

The admission procedure of KMG College of Arts and Science primarily depends on the percentage acquired in the previous examination. School operates on Thiruvalluvar University’s calendar for admission and examination purposes. Apart from these, KMG College also provides different scholarships to the deserving students and the state and national levels scholarships for education purposes.
