KR College of Education was established in the year 2007 as a college affiliated to Balabhgarh, Haryana. This is a co-educational college that holds approval from the National Council for Teacher Education; in other words, NCTE, ensuring standards of quality in teacher education. With a faculty strength of 10, KR College of Education takes responsibility for the grooming of future teachers amidst a very conducive learning environment.

The college has different facilities that would further facilitate the learning of the students. Acting as an important resource centre, the library has a myriad of educational materials and literature of various natures. In this regard, the laboratories are in readiness to impart practical components of teachers' training to students. Further, an environment with existing IT infrastructure in the KR College of Education will ensure that the students know about modern technological tools in vogue in the educational scenario and prepare them to face digital classrooms of the future. Admission in KR College of Education is done on a merit basis, in conformity with the policy of the state government and UT administration pertaining to reservations and the policies framed by the university. Admissions shall be made through the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college may also use other means of selection as per the policies prevailing periodically. This will ensure the opportunities of teaching the deserving candidates for nurturing better teaching.
