Krishna Girls Engineering College, Kanpur was established in the year 2008 as the first exclusively women's technical institution in the city of Kanpur. The institution is located in Bhawanipur village, Mandhana, Kanpur, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. This all-female engineering college offers under-graduate programs in various disciplines; it has a faculty strength of 103 members and is growing continuously to deliver quality education and empower young women in the field of technology and engineering.

The most popular programme is the B.Tech of Computer Science Engineering with 180 seats, followed by Electronics and Communication Engineering with an intake of 120. The B.Tech in Information Technology offers 90 seats, while Electrical and Electronics Engineering has an intake of 30 students.
