Krishna Institute of Pharmacy and Sciences, Kanpur Nagar, is an affiliated pharmacy college to offer education in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. This institute is situated in Gram Amiliha, Post Tatyaganj, Kanpur and has got PCI and AICTE accreditation. The institute has 2 degree programmes in the field of pharmacy.The faculty is comprised of 27 dedicated teachers and professionals from the field for pharmacy education in India. 

Krishna Institute of Pharmacy and Sciences lays claims to offering a number of new age facilities which helps boost the learning of its students. Classrooms are proper ventilated and there are more or less structurally planned like a theatre and are furnished with projectors. To support teaching/learning activities, each department has practical laboratories equipped with modern equipment and software. The institute has computerised library covering popular national and international journals, magazines, newspapers etc. for the academic activities. To support the needs of research and learning, the campus has Wi-Fi to make sure that internet is available at anytime at the institution. 

Krishna Institute of Pharmacy and Sciences offers two full-time pharmacy programmes. There is a four-year Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) programme with one hundred students’ intake and two-year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) programme with sixty students’ intake. This has increased the total number of students intake to 160 for the two courses. These programmes are aimed at the acquisition of total pharmacology and pharmacy practical skills for jobs in the expanding field of pharmaceutical industry.

The Krishna Institute of Pharmacy and Sciences has a no bar admission policy, where the number of students admitted to the institute is dependent on the number of students that apply to the institute and the student’s ability to perform well academically. Other than a quality academic process, the institute provides a good social life. The student has several opportunities for sports activities such as basketball court, football ground, badminton court and a gym. Among the indoor facilities, there are amenities of table tennis, carrom and chess playing. 

The institute also have separate hostels for boys and girls where living environment of the students is favourable. Apart from a cafeteria, there are several food outlets to handle the food requirements of the students. For those using their personal vehicles, the institute runs buses from several terminals and pick-up points to the campus.
