Krishnasamy College of Education for Women, Puducherry, was set up in the year 2006 to impart quality education only for women in the teaching profession. This affiliated college is established at Bahour Commune, Manapattu and occupied a campus of 9 acres of land. NCTE stands for The National Council for Teacher Education, which verifies the quality of teacher education in the institute approved by it. The college has 56 students enrolled currently and there are 20 local faculty members, which mean that the college has a relatively good student-faculty ratio. 

The college has many modern amenities to help achieve its educational mandate. These include Language laboratories, Computer laboratories, Mathematics Department laboratories, Physical Science laboratories and many more, such as Biological Science laboratories, Social Science laboratories, Psychological laboratories, audiovisual laboratories, and Educational Technology laboratories. It poses as the repository of knowledge, with more than 7,600 books; the current magazine; national and international journals; as well as educational magazines and newspapers. It has the capacity to hold 50 students per seat and is an automated classroom for operational resource purposes. For physical fitness and recreational purposes, the college offers ample provision of playing fields developed over 8 acres of land, having provision of volley ball, throw ball, kho-kho, badminton, ball badminton, Tennikoit and 200-meter track.

Krishnasamy College of Education for Women only holds two courses, which are the B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. integrated programmes. This is a two-year course and aims at providing prospective teachers with the skills and necessary knowledge to practice teaching effectively.
