KSK College of Engineering and Technology formerly known as KSKCET is an affiliated college which started in the year 2011 situated at Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. KSKCET is spread over a sprawling area of 25 acres approved from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and includes various engineering courses. The institute which is in its final phase of development at present has a student strength of 542 and faculty of 76 members. KSKCET offers eight B.E. engineering programmes out of which all are full time programmes, indicating its focus on varied technical education. Two of the courses that show that the college is preparing its students for the future are Artificial Intelligence and Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

With regard to campus infrastructural infrastructure, the college possesses a wider range of facilities that are central to students’ accommodation as well as co-curriculum and academic activities. The campus has an understanding of having two separate hostel for boys and girls with all types of home made hygienically prepared nutritional meals available to the students 24/7 with wardens to monitor them. Sports people have an opportunity to access well-equipped gym, ultramodern workout installations. 

The institutional library started along with the college in the year 2011, containing 11,423 books in 2,249; 584 CDs and sixty national and international journal subscriptions. Sports facility is well developed as the school has a basketball court, tennis court and more over an Indoor stadium for practicing badminton and table tennis. The college also promotes martial arts practice and offers inter university/martial arts tournaments and other competition.

There are 8 undergraduate engineering programmes available in the institute, and all the courses are regular. These views include but are not limited to popular branches like Mechanical engineering and electronics and communication engineering and new-age branches like artificial intelligence and data science and biomedical engineering. For all these courses, a total of 420 seats have been approved and Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science has been given 60 seats each. The college embraces modern technological disciplines as seen through the offer of various courses to fit the current emerging market needs.

The admission process adopted by KSKCET is also quite simple that will ensure that any intending engineer will be admitted. Altho other details regarding the admission process are not given it is understood that some engineering colleges admit students based on the scores obtained in Tamil Nadu Counselling examinations or other nations levele examinations. The college admit students into the various engineering programmes through the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) examination, which is the main entrance examination into the engineering colleges within the state of Tamil Nadu.
