KSS Arts Commerce and Science College and PG Centre, Gadag, came into existence in the year 1984 and is situated in Vidyanagar, Masari, Gadag, Karnataka. This affiliated college recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) imparted a rich variety of undergraduate and postgraduate subjects under faculties of arts, commerce, and science. Stretched over an area of 3.17 acres, this college has an overall student enrolment capacity of 1762 and a skilled faculty strength of 33. KSS College offers 12 courses and 6 degrees, which give each student an opportunity to obtain specialised education in his or her preferred academic stream in the college.

The premise is designed to promote the learning process, complemented by up-to-date facilities to enhance the learner’s academic needs. The library is one of the vital parts of the institution, with 18,474 volumes or 11,782 titles and 48 magazines and periodicals. It is however open for students from 8 in the morning to 3 in the afternoon in order to encourage student-life learning. The college also has well-equipped laboratories to facilitate practical sessions, which improves the personal practical skills of the students intending to choose science-related courses. Besides helping in health enhancement, for the physical fitness and general welfare of the scholars, the campus has a new gymnasium with a trainer as the coach. Another sign seen in the sports facilities of the college is the call for development not only in academia but in athletic arenas too.

KSS Arts, Commerce, and Science College offers a total of 12 courses, of which some are undergraduate and postgraduate. The complete list covers full-time arts, commerce, and science programmes offered in the institution. For the undergraduate level, the college offers BA., B.Com., and B.Sc. As well as, at the postgraduate level, it offers MA, M.Com., and M.Sc. degrees. The postgraduate program offered by the campus includes an M.A. in English Kannada Economics Sociology and History, an M.Com., and an M.Sc. in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. Most of the PG programmes provide 100 intakes and the B.Com. programme has the maximum strength of 720 intakes. This large variety of offered courses enables students to follow the desired directions of their knowledge acquisition across the spheres of learning.

Like any other college, KSS Arts, Commerce, and Science College has a stair-regulated admission process that is fair. They are exercised annually, with the merit and college admission norms as the criteria. However, the college operates an open access policy based on a first-come, first-served basis after fulfilling the set requirements of the parent university.
