Kumarganj College Kumarganj, was established in the year 2016 and affiliated to University of Gour Bakshaliya, Malda and it is situated in Balurghat West Bengal. The college with a campus area of 5 acres focuses mainly on offering undergraduate programmes with an emphasis on Arts. Kumarganj College has a total of 596 students intake and faculty of 13 members that makes it conducive for students to study in the college. The institute has developed and teaches eleven courses under two degrees focusing on humanities and social sciences disciplines.

Kumarganj College has some facilities that would support the learning process of students in the school. A library is equally important since it offers students’ material that is sufficient to compile their works. For practical learning there are departmental based laboratories that addresses the specific needs of our courses. For overall student physical activities and to encourage participation in students’ co-curricular activities, sports amenities are provided for the students. Also, the college has an auditorium through which organise several events, seminars, and other academic activities contributing to the college spirit.

The programme offered by Kumarganj College include a total of eleven courses of which all the courses are for full time duration only. The Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme is the main offering of the college; however, specialisations are offered. The total approved intake for all the courses is 596 students meaning the college can take a large number of learners per academic year. It has not been ascertained how many graduates the college is churning out each year but the college is still offering education to students in the area. The gate to Kumarganj College is open to the future students through the following simple admission process. However, various details concerning the admission process are unknown, although probability is that the college like many other undergraduate colleges in India adopted merit based admission system. I
