Kuriakose Gregorios College (KGC) Kottayam was established in the year 1981. The Corporate Management of Malankara Orthodox Church Colleges is responsible for the administration of the institute and is recognised by the University Grants Commission. KG College is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.

KG College offers 11 full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various disciplines such as Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Commerce, Science and Business Administration. KG College Kottayam provides courses include B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, M.Com and M.Sc. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for applying for various programmes offered at the institute. KG College UG and PG selection process is done through a Centralised Allotment process.

KG College UG and PG admission is based on the merit in previous qualifying examinations. In addition to the regular courses, KG College offers some value-added courses in various streams such as Banking, English, Information Technology, Journalism and many others. KG College has an active training and placement cell to handle the recruitment activities of the institute.

The Placement cell activities include career guidance, aptitude training, mock interviews, workshops, and soft skill and communication skill development.
